A commissioned sculpture is designed for a specific person, room or garden. It starts as a conversation about the space and the feeling you want, becomes a drawing, and then a form built up by hand over an armature until every muscle, feather and fold is right.
Wazir has more than 20 years of sculpting behind him, with work shown in museums, galleries and public spaces in Thailand, Dubai, Pakistan, Canada and the United States. He works in realism, hyper-realism and abstraction, so a commission can be a lifelike stallion, a contemplative bust or a bold modern form.
Franklin engineers what you don't see: the internal structure, the base, and how the piece is anchored and moved. That's what lets a heavy, top-heavy figure stand safely in a living room, a courtyard or a hotel lobby for decades.

Can you sculpt a specific animal or person from photos?
Yes. Send several clear photos from different angles. We use them to develop drawings for approval, then sculpt with those references beside us throughout the build.
Can a sculpture go outdoors?
Yes. Outdoor pieces are built on internal armatures, sealed for weather and given a base designed for anchoring. Tell us where it will stand so we can plan for sun, rain and foot traffic.
How big can you go?
From tabletop pieces to life-size and larger. Our studio has built life-size horses and monumental figures; very large pieces are made in sections and assembled on site.
Do you ship sculptures outside New York?
Yes. Finished work is crated for insured freight anywhere in the United States, and our team can travel to install it.
