High relief sits between a painting and a sculpture. The image is carved so deep that parts of it stand free of the background, which means it changes as you walk past and as the light moves through the day.
We carve every panel by hand with real undercuts and varied depth, so shadows fall the way they would on stone. Then we decide how it should be lit: by a spotlight, by daylight, by warm LEDs built behind the surface so the piece glows at night, or with UV-reactive paint that comes alive under black light.
Panels arrive framed and ready to hang, or we build them into the wall as an architectural feature. We also carve signage in relief, like the ZOO entrance sign with a giraffe, lion and elephant breaking through the letters.

How heavy are relief panels? Can they hang on drywall?
We build panels to be as light as the design allows and plan the mounting for your wall. Larger panels use a French cleat or structural anchors; we tell you exactly what your wall needs before we build.
How does the built-in lighting work?
We integrate LED lighting behind or inside the carving and route the wiring to a plug or a hardwired connection. You choose a warm or cool tone, and dimming is possible.
Can you carve our logo or a family crest?
Yes. Relief is a striking way to show a brand mark, monogram or crest in a lobby, restaurant or home. Send the artwork and we'll design it in relief.
Can relief art go outside?
Yes, with outdoor-rated materials and sealing. Tell us if it will face direct sun or rain so we can choose the right finish.
